'Tom Clancy's The Division' Release Date News: To Come With Downgraded Graphics?

Several fans have long been waiting for "Tom Clancy's The Division." But now that publisher and developer Ubisoft has already announced the release date of the game, it seems like some fans are no longer that interested anymore especially after the issue of a possible downgrade broke out.

According to Youth Health, the game's release date has already been pushed back several times. That would have been understandable but after finding out that the game may not be delivered the way it is expected to be delivered when it was first announced, many were turned off.

When "Tom Clancy's The Division" was first introduced, Ubisoft announced that they will be making use of the Snowdrop engine, which is an advanced graphics engine that adds more details to the design. It gives a sharper and close-to-real visuals as possible in terms of "shadows, reflections and other nitty-gritty graphic details" such as weather-responsive environments to develop a great experience to gamers. For a moment, the game garnered a lot of attention because of its outstanding gameplay and graphics.

But Master Herald detailed that a game expert who specializes in graphics technology posted an analysis of the game through a 20-minute footage. In the analysis, it revealed that the visuals of the game were downgraded from what was promised. Many of the visual effects that were initially introduced were missing from the 2013 build of the game.

However, the downgrade of the visuals of the game remains as a rumor since Ubisoft has not made any comments or announcements about it yet. It is still to be confirmed if the videogame developer will push through with the initial plans or if they will have to settle with mediocre visuals. Of course, Ubisoft will need to pick the former over the latter.

"Tom Clancy's The Division" is slated to be released on March 8, 2016 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
