Tracy Anderson Separating From Husband, Celebrity Trainer 'Heartbroken'
Tracy Anderson, the fitness guru behind A-list celebrities such as Gwyneth Paltrow, is separating from her husband of almost two years.
The 38-year-old mother of two announced the "heartbreaking" news on Saturday via her representative: "It's with great sadness that Tracy has confirmed the separation between herself and her husband, Matt."
Anderson and her husband Matt Mogol share a one-year-old daughter Penelope in addition to Anderson's 13-year-old son with her first husband, former NBA star Eric Anderson.
"The well-being of the daughter that they share, a well as her son, will always remain Tracy's first priority," the rep continued, according to E! News. "We appreciate the respect of Tracy and her family's privacy during this immensely heartbreaking and painful time."
Meanwhile, Anderson continues to be one of the most sought-after trainers in Hollywood. With gym locations in Los Angeles, New York City, the Hamptons, and London, the fitness guru has earned international fame through her unique workouts.
In addition to Paltrow, Anderson's clients include Taylor Swift, Jennifer Lopez, Bethenny Frankel and Courtney Cox, among others.
The celebrity trainer is also responsible for getting Kim Kardashian back into shape following the birth of baby North in June.
However, Anderson revealed that her client is not overly concerned about her weight.
"It's a tough time, and a lot of women feel like it's a huge mountain to climb to get back, but Kim, surprisingly, has had the total opposite reaction to other moms," said the celebrity trainer speaking to Us Weekly. "She's like, 'We're going to be so good. It's fun, I feel great!'"
Furthermore, motherhood has taken precedence over weight loss, according Anderson.
"She just loves the whole process," said the 38-year-old fitness mogul. "From our talks during her pregnancy, I thought she was going to be really concerned [about her weight] once the baby was out, but she's really just not… She's in baby heaven.
"She's excited to get started, but she's really calm about it," noted Anderson.
Even though Kardashian will not start a workout program until early August, Anderson said she would be personally present during Kardashian's workouts. The coveted coach seldom trains celebrities herself, but is making an exception for the "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star.
"She promised me she would be the best student ever, and I promised her that I would do it personally for her, that I would go to her myself and get her back," said Anderson, according to Us Weekly. "Kim is super motivated, she's all in. Pregnancy is actually an opportunity for women to look better than ever, and [Kim] will."
