Tributes pour in after Toby Keith's death: 'Resting in the arms of Jesus'

Donald Trump Jr., the son of former President Donald Trump, took to social media to offer his thoughts on Keith's passing, saying the world "lost a legend."

"Ugh. We lost a legend this week. R.I.P. Toby Keith," Trump Jr. wrote on X.

Trump shared a photo of him posing with Keith. 

Keith received criticism from some fans in 2017 after he performed at the Lincoln Memorial for a concert celebrating Trump's inauguration. In a statement at the time, Keith refused to apologize for "performing for our country or military." Keith also performed events for previous Presidents George W. Bush and Barack Obama.
