HBO has leaked the synopsis' for the final two episodes of the first season its latest hit series "True Detective."
The show stars Woody Harrelson and Matthew McConaughey as detectives Marty Hart and Rust Cohle who are involved in murder case that remains unsolved for 17 years. These last two episodes are expected to bring the storyline to a close.

"True Detective" premiered on HBO on Jan. 18. The Christian Post reviewed Episode 1 and 2.
The series follows an anthology format, which means that every season will feature a completely new cast of characters and a totally different storyline. This also means Harrelson and McConaughey will not be returning next season and that the story has to be wrapped up during these next two episodes.
The series has received rave reviews and commenters are flooding the boards expressing their excitement calling the one of the best shows ever made after just 6 episodes.
"True Detective" explores various themes including the occult and corruption within government and Southern Evangelical Christianity.
