Two-Faced Cat Venus Wins Internet Fame, Reminds Viewers of 'Frank and Louie'

A uniquely distinct Chimera cat named Venus is garnering viewer attention due to her face, which appears to be an accurate symmetric balance of two different colors, black and tabby orange.

Many online commenters admiring Venus's unique coloring are reminded of Frank and Louie, another feline that exhibited the "Janus cat" congenital disorder in which he literally had duplicate faces.

"She's as sweet as can be....gentle, loving, and has this little tiny kitten like 'meow' even though she is 3 now. She acts like a big baby in the way that she loves to be babied. She doesn't bother any furniture with her claws and uses a scratching post. She does not have one single bad habits......she's perfect!" reads Venus's description on her Facebook page, which has received 35,000 "likes".

Since her photo was shared on Reddit on Aug. 24, Venus has gained several thousand followers on various social websites, including Twitter, Reddit, Facebook, and Imgur. Venus was even featured on the "Today" show's trending section on Wednesday morning.

"This cat is going viral on Reddit!" commented one Reddit user.

"I've been introduced to this cat a dozen times this week," commented another user.

The right side of the three-year-old kitten's face is colored black, with a bright green eye shining through her glossy coat. The left side of her face is a light ginger, similar to that of a tabby's, with a blue eye.

Of course, puns about Venus's split face are also circulating the Internet.

"Her owner says her nature is just as beautiful as her appearance, so we're guessing Venus has no more of a split personality than any other feline," quips MSN Now.
