Two New Legendary Beasts Added in 'Pokemon Ultra Sun and Moon'

Aside from Dusk Form Lycanroc, fans of "Pokemon Ultra Sun" and "Pokemon Ultra Moon" will also get to see two new Ultra Beasts.

Speaking in the recent Nintendo Direct broadcast, Nintendo made the announcement and tagged the two Ultra Beasts as UB-Burst and UB-Assembly. Much like their predecessors, the two beasts will go by the two code names for now, until they are formally revealed.

According to Gamespot, UB-Burst carries the elements of a clown, bearing different colors, and he can only be encountered on "Ultra Sun." UB-Assembly, on the other hand, sports the look of a tower, and will be found only in "Ultra Moon."

Furthermore, Nintendo also confirmed that the Legendary Necrozma will have a more significant role in "Ultra Sun" and "Ultra Moon." In "Ultra Sun," the Prism Pokemon fuses with Solgaleo and turns into Dusk Mane Necrozma. On the other hand, Necrozma merges with Lunala and transforms into Dawn Wings Necrozma.

Moreover, wolf Pokemon Lycanroc will now be equipped with a new Z-move called Splintered Stormshards. The new ability can be used by any of the Lycanroc's three forms to inflict damage and eliminate terrain.

Additionally, Nintendo also announced a treat for gamers who purchase any of the two titles before to Jan. 10.

In other Pokemon news, Nintendo also announced the Pokemon-themed New 2DS XL. The limited edition version of the handled console will sport designs and accents inspired by the Poke Ball. The device will come in a standard clamshell design, but this time, the top portion carries the design of the Poke Ball.

"Catch the Poké Ball Edition New Nintendo #2DSXL on November 3rd!," wrote Nintendo in a Twitter post. The New 2DS XL arrives about two weeks before "Pokemon Ultra Sun" and "Ultra Moon" become available.

"Pokemon Ultra Sun" and "Pokemon Ultra Moon" launch on Nov. 17 on 3DS while the Pokemon-themed New 2DS XL comes out on Nov. 3.
