The U.S. Open 2012 tennis tournament continues on Friday with some big names scheduled to be on court in New York. All the action can be watched online through live stream (details below).
Novak Djokovic will be playing his second round match against Rogerio Dutra Silva, with Djokovic looking to recapture some of the amazing form from months ago which saw him rise to the number 1 ranking position.
In other action Na Li of China, and 9th seed, will be up against British teenager Laura Robson, who caused a massive upset by defeating Kim beat the former world number one Kim Clijsters 7-6 (7-4) 7-6 (7-5) to go through.
Clijsters was hoping to win her final singles event before retirement, but ended up on the wrong end of a shock defeat by Robson.
"It's sad that it was her last match because I feel like she is still one of the best players in the world," said the 18-year-old Robson. "She is someone I looked up to since I joined the senior tour. She has brought so much to female tennis, so it's tough she is going to retire. I wish her all the best."
"I've always been working on my movement. It's something I can still improve a lot. I'm putting a lot of work into it," Robson said. "I'm getting more confident. I feel I can get to one extra ball every time and put more pressure on my opponent."
Clijsters was chasing her fourth title in New York, where she last lost in 2003.
Lleyton Hewitt of Australia will also be in action against Gilles Muller on Court 11. Meanwhile, Richard Gasquet of France, who is the number 13 seed in the men's draw, will play against American Bradley Klahn.
David Ferrer of Spain will also be featured on Friday in his second round tie against Igor Sijsling of Netherlands, as well as Andy Roddick vs. Bernard Tomic.
