USA vs. Jamaica: Watch Live Online World Cup 2014 Qualifier (Stream From 8PM)
USA vs. Jamaica in the World Cup 2014 Qualifier kicks off from the Columbus Crew Stadium in Columbus, Ohio at 8 p.m. ET. The match can be watched online through live stream (details below).
The teams met just on Friday when Jamaica won a surprise victory 2-1 to send Jurgen Klinsmann's men into shock. The result has thrown doubt on Team USA's qualification campaign, and may have knocked their confidence at an important stage.
However, Team USA will have the opportunity to immediately bounce back and gain revenge. Progression in the CONCACAF World Cup qualifying is often a given for the United States, but if they lose again on Tuesday night then they would look on the ropes and likely up for elimination.
A defeat in tonight's game would not signal the end for Jurgen Klinsmann's side, and it is too early to say they would be knocked out, but anything other than a win would put serious question marks over the coach and the team.
Only the top two teams of the four in the group will progress to next year's hexagonal, and the U.S. currently sits level on four points with El Salvador.
Klinsmann has said, "Pressure is always there in professional sports. We wanted to get points in Jamaica and be in a better position than we are right now. Winning tomorrow night, which is our goal and which we are focused on very strongly, puts us back in pole position in that group. Pressure and expectations is just part of the professional environment. That's no problem."
Just last month the Unites States claimed their first ever victory in Mexico, and after taking a first minute lead against Jamaica last week Team USA looked to be cruising. But suddenly everything was overturned and the team's inability to gain control of the game and giving away possession needlessly has undermined their campaign.
Jamaica will be confident of getting another result in tonight's game and it is all set to be a fiery encounter. USA vs. Jamaica kicks off at 8 p.m. ET and can be watched online through live stream by clicking here.
