Who are the Americans held hostage by Hamas?
Keith Siegel, 64
The wife of North Carolina native Keith Siegel was among several hostages released amid the terror group's temporary ceasefire agreement with Israel.
Adrienne "Aviva" Siegel and her husband lived in the Kibbutz Kfar Aza before Hamas took them captive on Oct. 7.
As ABC11 reported Sunday, it is likely that Keith Siegel is still a hostage of Hamas.
The office of Sen. Ted Budd, R-N.C., issued a statement Sunday in response to the news of Aviva's release, expressing pleasure at the fact that some of the hostages have been reunited with their loved ones.
"We remain steadfast in our commitment to secure that freedom for North Carolina native Keith Siegel, Omer Neutra, and all hostages illegally held by Hamas terrorists," the statement read.
"While we are encouraged by the government of Qatar's efforts to mediate the release of some of the hostages, we renew our call to their government to exert pressure on Hamas leadership to release each and every hostage immediately and unconditionally."
