Who were the students, teachers killed in the Apalachee High School shooting?
Christina Irimie
Irimie, an immigrant from Romania, was a math teacher at Apalachee High School who "had a gift with young people," friends told The Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
Nicolae Clempus, the parish priest at Saint Mary Romanian Orthodox Church in Dacula, said he immigrated to the U.S. in 2001, a few years after Irimie, and she made him feel welcome.
He said St. Mary's was one of two churches Irimie attended, and she was known as someone "you know you can count on."
A GoFundMe campaign to support her family has raised over $28,000 as of Thursday.
