WWDC 2012: New MacBook Pro and Nearly All Macs to Be Upgraded
Apple's WWDC 2012 could be an even bigger event than previously expected, as latest reports indicate that Apple is preparing to unveil a mass upgrade of almost its entire Mac line of products.
According to a 9to5 Mac source the new MacBook Pro, which has long been touted to be released at the developer's conference, will only be one of Apple's special hardware unveilings. If the sources are correct then an amazing five Mac lines will be updated at the WWDC 2012, which opens on June 11.
Even though the iOS 6, as well as a new iCloud upgrade is set to be unveiled the real excitement surrounds the potential hardware releases set to be revealed.

Apple fans are eagerly awaiting the release of the new MacBook Pro, and just this week speculation regarding the specs of the new laptop went into overdrive when a forum poster on a Chinese website revealed what he claimed to be the official spec sheet for the new notebook.
The specs sheet claims the new MacBook Pro will feature a 2.5GHz dual-core Intel Core i5 processor, as well as UBS 3.0 ports, an Ivy Bridge processor and Bluetooth 4.0 support, according to CNET. However, interestingly a Retina display was not listed on the spec sheet, which is surprising seeing as the Retina display has long been rumored to be a feature of the upgraded notebook.
The purported specifications instead show the new MacBook Pro with a 13.3-inch LED backlit glossy widescreen. The specs could simply show a low-end 13-inch MacBook Pro - something that Apple may be intending to release. This would be a plausible explanation as the lower-end model could lack some of the features seen in the higher end models, such as a Retina display and a thinner design.
Other sources are also suggesting Apple's iMac will be upgraded at the conference, with the Mac Mini also likely to be given an update.
Apple's WWDC conference runs from June 11 – 15 in San Francisco.
