'X Factor' Final 3: Performances Tonight
“X Factor” has been narrowed down to just three contestants who will take to the stage during part one of the show’s finale tonight.
Chris Rene, Melanie Amaro, and Josh Krajcik remain in the competition for a $5 million prize on the reality show. The finalists each offer very different talents, and tonight’s results prove difficult to predict.
Finalist Rene, 28, is a strong contender on the show. The father of two has remained popular throughout this season of “X Factor” with his songwriting skills.
In addition to his popular original songs, Rene covered Sugar Ray’s “Fly” last week, earning the performance thousands of views on YouTube. The singer also earned praise from notoriously harsh “X Factor” judge Simon Cowell.
“You have delivered big-time,” said Cowell of Rene’s performance last week.
Another finalist Melanie Amaro has covered artists such as Mariah Carey and Whitney Houston and is widely slated to win the competition. The 19-year-old from Florida received the highest praise from judge L.A. Reid last week.
“You’re the greatest female that has ever graced this stage,” said the judge.
The third finalist, 30-year-old Krajcik, will also take the stage tonight with the hopes of winning the competition. The Ohio native covered the Beatles last week and saw praise from the judges’ panel.
Nicknamed “magic Krajcik” by judge Nicole Scherzinger, the singer also received praise from L.A. Reid who told him, “That was the best I’ve seen you in weeks.”
The “X Factor” finale will air in two parts and starts Wednesday on FOX live at 8 p.m. EST.
