Phillips, who was not given a royal title at birth, will keep her maiden name and promised to honor Tindall, but not to obey him.
The ceremony was followed with a reception at the Palace of Holyroodhouse, Queen Elizabeths's Scottish home.
Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton, was seen wearing a muted gold color coat and lace dress with neutral colored heals. The Duchess, who is known for recycling her famous wardrobe, has worn both pieces on other occasions.
Queen Elizabeth donned a pink ensemble at the wedding that was also designed by Stewart Parvin.
The evening before the ceremony, the royals attended a drinks reception on the Royal Yacht Britannia for Zara and Mike.
For the reception, Kate wore a green Diane von Furstenberg dress that she wore to an event in Los Angeles the previous month.
The event was filled with royal attendees but was a private affair as the doors of the kirk were closed to the public.
