Adele 'Skyfall' Theme Song to Celebrate James Bond 50th Anniversary (AUDIO)
Adele will be the voice to the new James Bond theme song "Skyfall," a verse of which was leaked over the Internet ahead of its Oct. 4 release date.
Adele confirmed over her Twitter account that she would in fact be the voice on the track for the new James Bond theme song "Skyfall." The actual release date of the song will hit the internet on Friday, to coincide with the 50th anniversary of the film.
The James Bonds film series have produced a numerous amount of highly acclaimed soundtracks, the most famous of course being the original James Bong theme song. Shirley Bassey, also a famed British music artist of her time, sang more than one track that found fame through the film, including "Diamonds Are Forever" and "Goldfinger."

Other music artists who have sung tracks for the film included Tina Turner, Paul McCartney, Carly Simon, Sheena Easton, and Madonna.
Adelle announced the news that she was singing as vocalist on Twitter, with a cover picture of the song, adding that fans could pre-order if they were interested. In a previous interview, the iconic singer had suggested that she was skeptical of working on a James Bond track at first, which was arranged by Paul Epworth.
''I was a little hesitant at first to be involved with the theme song for 'Skyfall.' There's a lot of instant spotlight and pressure when it comes to a Bond song," she told Press Association. ''But I fell in love with the script and Paul had some great ideas for the track and it ended up being a bit of a no-brainer to do it in the end.''
Meanwhile, outside of doing work on the track, Adele has been busy with boyfriend Simon Konecki, as the two prepare to become parents.
Adele, 24, announced that she was pregnant in June.
"I'm delighted to announce that Simon and I are expecting our first child together," she wrote on her website at the time.
She was spotted alongside Konecki, 36, last week in a small English town according to the Daily News, which reported the she appeared near ready to have the baby.
