Andy Cohen's "What What Happens Live" Extended to 5 Nights a Week

Bravo TV host Andy Cohen revealed that his hit show "Watch What Happens Live" is being extended to five nights a week.

The late night talk show, which regularly features various celebrity personalities, will remain airing on the Bravo network but from Jan. 8 will air more than the current two days a week schedule.

Appearing on ABC's "Live! With Kelly" on Thursday, Cohen expressed his thoughts.

“I'm very excited. … I'm excited because I love live TV, which is one of the reasons I love your show, and we're going to be the only live show in late night," Cohen told Kelly Rippa.

The show has become increasingly popular amongst viewers since the success of Cohen's “The Real Housewives” series.

The show aims to present a very flamboyant and fun feel say critics, which acts as a platform for celebrity figures to weigh in on the network's reality shows.

The focus is almost always "The Real Housewives," which features shows based in Atlanta, Beverly Hills, Orange County, New Jersey and New York.

Cohen, who is openly gay, is known for sipping cocktails while hosting his show and his candid personality while on the air.

The 45-year-old has had a very successful professional career in media, even winning an Emmy award in 2010 for one of his hit reality shows, "Top Chef.”

The same year, he was also named one of TV Guide's "25 Most Influential People in Television.”

“Watch What Happens Live” has featured celebrity guests including “Glee” stars Lea Michele and Chris Colfer, ”Sex & the City” star Sarah Jessica Parker, and renowned talk show host Wendy Williams.

The show's new schedule will begin Sunday, Jan. 8 at 11 p.m. EST.
