Angelina Jolie Confirms Kids Helping Plan Brad Pitt Wedding; 'We Will Get Married'

Angelina Jolie recently opened up about her plans to marry Brad Pitt and how their children will play a role in wedding planning.

The "Maleficent" star, 38, began dating the Hollywood actor and producer, 50, in 2005 after meeting him on the set of "Mr. & Mrs. Smith" and they announced their engagement in 2012. Both stars have been consumed with their respective work commitments over the past year, which is believed to have delayed wedding plans. However, Jolie revealed that they will eventually tie the knot.

"We will get married, and we're not in a rush, so we're just waiting for it to be the right time with the kids, with work, when it feels right," Jolie told People.com.

"We talk about it occasionally, and the kids talk about it with us," she continued. "We all kind of think about how we imagine it or what it might be. So we've started to do that but we haven't made any definite plans."

The couple of nine years share six children Maddox, 12, Pax, 10, Zahara, 9, Shiloh, 7, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 5. Jolie described their vision for a "Disney" or "Paintball" themed wedding as "verging on hysterical."

"We are discussing it with the children and how they imagine it might be. Which is verging on hysterical, how kids envision a wedding," she said.

"They will in a way be the wedding planners. It's going to be Disney or paintball - one or the other!" she added. "We've got a lot of different personalities in the house. They've got some strong opinions. It will be fun. That's the important thing."

In February 2013, the actress underwent a preventive double mastectomy after learning she had an 87 percent risk of developing breast cancer due to the BRCA1 gene. She also has a 50 percent chance of developing ovarian cancer and is scheduled to undergo another procedure to remove her ovaries.

Despite her health woes, the actress is enthusiastic about her wedding day even though a date has not yet been set.

"When we do it, it will feel like a great day for our family," she said.
