'Big Brother' 16 Recap: 2 Heads of Household Will do Battle in New Game

Last night another eight houseguests entered the "Big Brother" house for three months, joining eight fellow competitors. Viewers finally learned what the twist with the Head of Household competition was, and it left all the houseguests stunned.

Victoria, Caleb, Britany, Christine, Derrick, Hayden, Zach, and Jocasta finally entered the house, joining their fellow competitors. They were a bit hesitant, given that the game was already underway; there was tension as soon as they entered the house and numerous players said that they felt there were already two teams within the house. The second group was surprised to learn that there was already one Head of Household and that there would be another chosen from their own group.

During the competition, Caleb took home the Head of Household title, but he was not sure it was worth winning once he learned of the consequences. As viewers remember, Frankie is already a Head of Household, so now there are two. Host Julie Chen told the houseguests that there were several twists for the HOHs. Each would nominate two houseguests for eviction, meaning that there would be four nominees in total. Then, the four would compete in a new game called Battle of the Block.

The two nominees from HOH 1 would battle against the two nominees from HOH 2; whoever won the game would immediately be removed from the block and be safe for the week. However, the winning team's HOH would be removed from power and become a regular player who could be put up for eviction. That means that one could go from HOH to evictee in the course of one week.

Chen then told viewers that there was another twist, a secret alliance known as Team America, which would be chosen and controlled by viewers. Three houseguests would be selected by viewers and given missions to go on throughout the season; for each mission completed, the members of Team America would earn $5,000. The first member of Team America is Joey, and others will be revealed as they are chosen.

See who Frankie and Caleb put up for eviction, and see who another member of Team America is on Sunday night's episode.

"Big Brother" airs Wednesday, Thursday, and Sunday evenings on CBS.
