Blake Shelton Rumors: 'I Read Our Marriage is Falling Apart,' Star Tweets Wife

Will Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert overcome the troubles in their marriage? That answer may depend on the tabloids because as far as the country couple is concerned, there is no trouble at all.

Blake Shelton stated that he learned about the troubles in his marriage after reading articles in a tabloid magazine.

"I just read in a tabloid that our marriage is falling apart!!!" Shelton wrote in a tweet directed at his wife of two years.

Lambert responded by saying, "Oh no! Can't wait to read if we make it or not."

Shelton did in fact hint that he was having trouble with his wife, but it did not appear to be as serious as tabloids may have suggested.

"Laying here in bed with @mirandalambert watching her spend a couple of hits worth of money on MULTIPLE shower curtains... Cue the tabloids!" he tweeted before noting their marital troubles. Lambert responded by suggesting that the money and the hits were all hers.

The March edition of Life & Style magazine suggested that Shelton might be cheating on his wife with a younger woman. "Blake Shelton Cheated on Miranda!" one headline read. A second headline read: "Showdown With the Younger Woman." The magazine suggested that Shelton had been flirting with a 23-year-old singer.

Based on the couple's reaction however, it appears that the rumors bare no substance. Shelton's latest tweet to his wife was also a loving one.

"Hey @mirandalambert... I'm on my way to pick you up baby!!!!" he wrote on Saturday.

Lambert is Shelton's second wife. He first married longtime girlfriend Kaynette Gern in 2003. The couple split in 2006 one year after Shelton first met Lambert. Shelton's involvement with Lambert prior to and just after his divorce has helped to propel rumors of infidelity.
