'Blindspot' Episode 6 Spoilers and Episode 5 Recap: The Team Will Face a Deadly App

On the next episode of "Blindspot" entitled "Cede Your Soul," the official synopsis reads, "A hazardous app designed to track government vehicles must be taken down, and the app's creator winds up helping the team with this task. Meanwhile, Jane and Weller try not to blur the lines of their working relationship; and Zapata faces an ethical issue."

In a preview for the episode, it seems that the creators of the show are already playing up the romance between Weller and Jane. The episode involves an application that plays into the techie generation.

In a promo for the episode, it would seem that the team will be dealing with a very deadly application called Trackster. There is a group of people killing government employees and tracking their vehicles. The episode promises to be an explosive one.

The previous episode began with a man as he tried to hail a cab in New York. A cab picked him up and the backseat was filled with gas. Meanwhile, Jane visited Kurt at his house. Jane met his sister and his nephew. Later on, Jane had a memory flash that freaked her out. Jane left and she was followed by Kurt.

Tasha and Edgar talked about Jane. The guy that was picked up by the cab arrived at MWA, along with another guy. They took people hostage. In the meantime, Bethany talked to Kurt about the isotope test that was done on Jane. Kurt believed that Jane was Taylor Shaw, but Bethany had her doubts.

Patterson found another tattoo of importance on Jane's body. It was a number that had the zip code and a building number. The men were brutal with the hostages. The team arrived at MWA and Kurt handled the negotiations.

The team discovered that the CIA had a black site in the country and that they were going to kill and torture an asset named Dodi who was smuggled out with the injured. Dodi was a bomb maker who made dirty bombs.
The team went head-to-head with the CIA and Thomas Carter the deputy director wanted Dodi, but when Bethany would not cave, he asked for Jane instead. Bethany gave the CIA Dodi. Jane had a flashback of a man leading her down a set of stairs where there were beds filled with kids.

Jane and Kurt shared a tender moment. Kurt arrived home only to discover that his father was there. Tasha was tagged by Thomas to spy on Jane for him.
