Brandy and Ryan Press Split Rumors: Singer Questioned on Breakup Reports
Brandy Norwood, the 35-year-old R&B singer, was recently questioned about her relationship after rumors of a breakup with her fiance and music executive Ryan Press recently surfaced. However, Norwood refused to detail what was going on in her personal romantic life.
"I'm not talking about my relationship," she told Hip Hollywood at the Essence Black Women in Hollywood luncheon recently. "I'm here to celebrate powerful women today."
The singer went on to reveal her thoughts about sharing information about publicly speaking on relationships.

"I think you just have to speak from your heart and if you want to share [your relationship], great," she told Hip Hollywood. "If not, then that's your choice."
While the status of Norwood's engagement has yet to be confirmed by the singer, she previously spoke with PopStopTV on New Year's Eve and explained why engagement meant so much to her.
"At one point I gave up on love, so to have this feeling and for it to be like the first time, with the person that I feel like God has created for me to be with, it feels magical," Norwood told PopStopTV. "And I want it to stay like this so every married couple that we have been meeting over our vacation, I've been asking them, 'So what's the secret?' They've been giving me a lot of great tips. Communication is the key, clearly, so we'll see what this thing does."
Norwood has been public about her desire to marry Press in the past, speaking to Sister2Sister magazine about the possibility of an engagement in 2012.
"I keep hearing about a ring. People keep calling me, hinting to me about it, but I don't know," Norwood told the publication. "I'm going to be patient and let it happen and just let it be...I guess it will happen when it's the right time. Keep your fingers crossed for sometime soon I will be engaged."
After the moment finally happened, Norwood did not hide her enthusiasm.
"I'm very happy," Norwood told PopStopTV "I'm definitely on Cloud 20."
