'Doctor Who' Series 9 Episode 10 Spoilers: Maisie Williams Makes Guest Appearance As Ashildr; Clara Says Goodbye
BBC America's hit action-adventure drama series "Doctor Who" Series 9 returns this week with a brand new episode that will once again feature this season's notable guest star. Meanwhile, could this be the very episode that fans will get to see the Time Lord's companion for the last time?
According to the spoiler report from International Business Times, Maisie Williams will be back as the immortal Ashildr. The "Game of Thrones" star previously appeared on Viking and Victorian era-themed episodes. This week, however, her character will be seen in the modern day setting.
The episode, which is called "Face The Raven" may not be as scary as the previous one but it won't surely fall short of reasons to make its viewers grip their seats as the Time Lord (Peter Capaldi) and his trusty companion, Clara (Jenna Coleman), returns to Earth with an old friend, Rigsy (Joivan Wade).
The latter had previously appeared in Season 8 asking the time travellers for help on an issue involving an alien race that sucks human beings into walls and floors. There could be a possibility that Rigsy has once again encountered some problems which he alone cannot deal with, the site wrote.
The promo trailer, which is also shared by the media outlet, shows the Doctor bumping into Williams' character. It seems like Capaldi's alter-ego didn't exactly expect for Ashildr to be in that place.
The same teaser also seems to give hints that this could be the last time that viewers will see Clara. It has been reported that Coleman will be leaving the series. The clip sees her saying goodbye to the Doctor. As she walks farther away from her companion, she can be heard saying "Let me be brave," all over and over again.
Find out how things unfold when "Doctor Who" Season 9 Episode 10 airs this Saturday, Nov. 21, at 9 p.m. on BBC America.
