Dragon Ball Super: Episode 40 Preview, Spoilers

Episode 39 of "Dragon Ball Super" was as usual epic and action-packed, highlighted by Goku's battle with Hit reaching boiling point. Goku eventually figured out how to combat Hit's primary ability, which is to make a time jump, but it certainly looked like Hit is still making strides to improve his battle abilities. The episode also showcased something that's seen rarely in Goku, where he had no other choice but to use the Kaioken technique in order to give his Super Saiyan Blue that much needed boost, eventually giving him the advantage at the episode's end.

In the recently released trailer for Episode 40 meanwhile, Goku and Hit face each other in mid-air with their respective powers just waiting to be unleashed. Goku is already in his Super Saiyan Blue mode while challenging Hit to take the fight to him using his full power. And because Hit didn't want anything to be left out on luck, he had no other recourse but to show his most powerful technique. The preview then ends with Goku and Hit on a collision course, leaving everything hanging at that point.

The episode, titled "The Conclusion" will feature the end of the tournament versus Universe 6, with the fate of the Earth hanging in the balance. As expected though, Goku should still have enough tricks up his sleeves to overwhelm and defeat Hit in the last round of the tournament.

Well, the most obvious reason in coming up with this prediction is the simple fact that Hit is the last one from Universe 6 who hasn't tasted defeat. Predictable, right? Well, no matter how foreseeable and exposed this next episode is, all Dragon Ball fans will certainly still be tuning in for Episode 40 which airs around 9:00 am in Japan on April 23.
