Eminem New Album 2013: Celine Dion Would 'Love To' Collaborate With Rapper

Eminem's new album in 2013, the Marshall Mathers LP 2, is scheduled to be released in November, and the hype surrounding the project has revealed one willing collaborator: Celine Dion. The powerhouse songstress said that she'd "love to" work with the Detroit emcee, if only to impress her 12-year-old son, Rene-Charles, who is a big fan of the rapper.

Celine Dion spoke about her son's relationship with her music during an interview with Access Hollywood, saying that despite her accolades- she is the best-selling female music artist of all time, selling 200 million albums worldwide- she still isn't "cool" to her son, RC.

"I'm not his favorite singer, for sure," she laughed. "I'm his favorite mom, though. That's the main thing."

When asked if she would work with Eminem because her son is a big fan, she replied, "I'd love to!"

It wouldn't be the first time Eminem or his alter ego Slim Shady broke the mold to work with some unconventional artists. The rapper previously appeared alongside singer Elton John and created a popular hit single, "Love the Way You Lie," with Rihanna.

Eminem has been busy promoting his album, which is a revisit of some of the themes from his critically acclaimed album, The Marshall Mathers LP. Part of that promotion means Mathers bizarre appearance on ESPN, releasing his successful ode to old-school hip-hop, "Bezerk," and collaborating with the Call of Duty franchise with his first single, "Survival."

"The energy and intensity of 'Survival' really matches Call of Duty: Ghosts," the rapper told Nintendo Insider. "I'm excited to continue to be a part of the franchise."

"Bezerk" has done well too, selling 362,000 digital downloads and coming it at no. 3 on the Billboard Hot 100, knocking off Miley Cyrus' "We Can't Stop."

Though no tracklist has been officially released, RapGenius.com leaked a tracklist for MMLP2.

The album will be released Nov. 5.
