Evelyn Lozada Keeps Strong Bond With Chad Johnson's Daughter
Evelyn Lozada may have a new fiance and baby, but she is still proving that her bond with ex-husband Chad Ochocinco Johnson's daughter cannot be broken.
Lozada, the 38-year-old entrepreneur and fitness guru made famous on VH1's "Basketball Wives," broke things off with ex-NFL player Johnson, 37, one month after they married in July 2012. The professional athlete physically assaulted Lozada after an argument ensued about his infidelities.
Last Christmas, Lozada announced her engagement to Carl Crawford, the 32-year-old Los Angeles Dodger, whose son she gave birth to last March. However, Lozada and Johnson's teenage daughter, Jicyra Johnson, seem to have an unbreakable bond close to two years after the television personality divorced the athlete.
"I love you," Jicyra tweeted Lozada, who responded, "I love you too."
In the emotional exchanged that was followed with tearful emojis, Jicyra went on to let the world know what she thought about her father's ex-wife.
"E will always be my (heart). There's no replacing her," Jicyra tweeted. "Especially not her."
Lozada responded with emojis of friends holding hands and a heart to which Jicyra replied, "till da end."
Ochocinco's daughter has always spoken about her love for Lozada, even right after the pair split.
"Long story short: I LOVE YOU. I MISS YOU. I CAN'T WAIT TO SEE YOU," Jicyra wrote on a birthday message for Lozada captured on Twitter in 2012. "YOU ARE THE BEST. NOBODY CAN TAKE YOUR PLACE IN THIS LITTLE HEART OF MINE. I'M SO HAPPY YOU'RE IN MY LIFE."
Lozada replied by saying, "Why she will forever have a special place in my heart - You have me crying."
Despite the fact that Lozada and her father engaged in a very public courting, marriage and divorce, Jicyra made it clear she did not take sides in the matter.
"Regardless (of) what (happened) this weekend I will and still love me, my dad and Evelyn, and I always will," the young Johnson tweeted after the dispute occurred in 2012.
Jicyra thanked God for Lozada when the television star married her father two years ago, calling the union the happiest day of her life.
"I thank god he met you.. happiest day of life , just because I know you'll be here forever ," Jicyra tweeted on her father's wedding day. "I love you Evelyn!"
