Evelyn Lozada Reacts to Chad Johnson Arrest

Evelyn Lozada, the 37-year-old star of "Basketball Wives" who broke things off with free agent NFL player Chad Johnson one month after marrying him last July, recently reacted to the athlete's recent arrest. She let it be known that she never wants contact with him again.

Johnson was recently taken into police custody for reportedly violating his probation stemming from assaulting Lozada following their short-lived marriage last summer. Johnson was reportedly arrested in Florida after failing to show proof that he enrolled in a domestic violence class and met with his probation officer, according to TMZ.

Lozada spoke with a TMZ reporter about her reaction to the news. When a reporter asked if she was in contact with Johnson, she revealed that she had not heard about his recent arrest.

"We don't talk at all.I don't know I'm really not going to comment ... to each his own honestly," Lozada told the TMZ reporter recently. "I ... wish people the best that's all. I don't wish people bad and that's all."

The reality television star told the TMZ reporter that she did not plan to be in contact with Johnson ever again and was not interested in ever reconciling or becoming friends with the famed NFL player.

Last month, Lozada made it clear that she did not consider her first marriage to be legitimate after divorcing Johnson one month after the pair walked down the aisle. Lozada revealed those thoughts when she was questioned by a fan about her thoughts on being married again during her Twitter question and answer session.

"Again," Lozada stated on Twitter. "It will be my first 'marriage' lol."

Earlier this year, Lozada opened up to Celebuzz about her desires to let God choose her next husband.

"I still want to be a mother, I still want to have other children, I still want to get married and have a family," Lozada told Celebuzz previously. "Only this time, instead of me choosing, I'm going to allow God to choose whomever for me."
