'Fargo' Season 2 Episode 6 Spoilers: Peggy, Ed Sticks To Their Plan; Lou, Hank Prevent An Altercation
A lot of shocking things have happened in the last episode of FX's hit crime drama TV series "Fargo" Season 2 and more of it is slated to happen when the show returns this week with "Rhinoceros."
For those who missed it, the expected war between the Gerhardts and the Kansas City-based syndicate finally erupted. A lot of men from both sides were killed. Fans were stricken most as to how deadly Hanzee can be when he singlehandedly taken down one of Mike Milligan's Kitchen brothers. KC's representative, Joe Bulo, however, was assumed to have also been killed in the encounter as his head was sent to Milligan in a box. Mike, in return, demands Simone to spy on her family for him.
As for the issue of Rye Gerhardt's death, Dodd sends his hitman to kill Ed Bloomquist. Bear's son, Charlie insisted on having the honor to do the deed. The mission flopped at the first attempt when the youngster laid eyes on the owner's daughter, Noreen.
Chaos eventually ensued when Virgil pushes Charlie to accomplish the task. Charlie's gun jammed up. Ed drove a butcher's knife right into the head of Virgil. All these events happened while the butcher shop burned down to flames.
In hopes to escape the wrath of the Gerhardts and be held accountable to the law, Ed rushed back home. He found Peggy all excited about her decision to finally settle and buy the butcher shop. Ed told her the news. And just as they are about to make their escape, the police arrived.
In this week's episode, it is expected that things will get even more complicated not only for the butcher and the beautician, but also for the Gerhardts as they continue their campaign to defend their territory.
The synopsis from The Futon Critic says that the upcoming episode will find Peggy and Ed "defending their choices." Could this mean that they will still deny the allegations concerning the death of Rye?
Meanwhile, Lou and Hank try to prevent an altercation. Could this be related to the Gerhardt clan's war against the KC people?
