GTA 6 Game News: Fans want a female lead character, new cities and new missions

Game developer Rockstar recently launched GTA 5 which is a huge success. Fans are already clamoring for more and want to know when GTA 6 will be out. Even though GTA 5 is high on excitement and thrills, fans have a lot more on their wish-list. Among the most prominent wish is for a female lead character to be included.

Fans are split on this issue. Some have not liked the portrayal of women in the recent GTA 5 and have criticized it. Some want and are even expecting some female protagonist as the main character who will lead the story of GTA 6 forward.

According to GTA6GrandTheftAuto.com, Rockstar head writer Dan Houser was asked if he ever thought of a female lead character in the GTA Series. He said, "Of course. We just haven't found the right game for it yet, but it's one of the things that we always think about. It didn't feel natural for this game [GTA 5] but definitely for the right game in the future – with the right themes, it could be fantastic."

There are also rumors that Rockstar might drastically alter GTA 6. It might be possible that instead of 2+ characters, GTA 6 might ride with a single main character. Though this is not official yet, fans say it is a distinct possibility. GTA fans want more relatability with the characters so they want customization in the characters regarding their clothes, accessories, looks, etc.

Fans of the GTA series have more wishes that they want included in GTA 6. Some want the retro look of 1970s with the Mafioso and corrupt government officials. Other fans want to experience adventures set in newer cities. Fans also want more missions, especially 'money making missions' like having a job, joining the army or the police force or just plain robbing banks.

These are just some of the fans' wishes that hopefully, Rockstar will heed and bear in mind when they think up a new GTA game in the future.
