Inbox by Gmail Has Three New Interesting Features

Google's highly popular email service, Inbox by Gmail, has been given three new features intended for users to get more things done, both for desktop and mobile use. According to reports, the email service now gives the user the ability to keep track of events and at the same time monitor emails that have been sent and received in connection to those events. Likewise, there also is an updated newsletter function which includes the ability to preview every newsletter a user receives while highlighting any links found in them.

The giant tech company sums up the new features in an excerpt from their statement:

Starting today, you'll discover three new experiences in Inbox – streamlined events, glanceable newsletters and saved links – that help you better keep track of things that matter to you and feel more in control.

Of the three features, the upgrade on events is certainly the most useful. All messages coming from or related to a single event will now be grouped, which means it is easier to access and browse through them. In essence, one gets a more convenient and complete overview of email messages linked to a calendar event. This means that there no longer is a need to spend countless hours looking for a specific email sent several months or years back.

Meanwhile, the second add-on focuses on providing a more convenient time in dealing with newsletters. Since email users don't find every newsletter interesting, they now can simply click through those that they seem to be interested in. However, the problem is not every newsletter has support, which means that only the popular ones come integrated with this feature.

The last one is highlighted by the "save links" functionality, which is actually quite helpful for those who has the habit of sending links to their email accounts so as to be able to read them when they have time. With the new features, those sent links can now be saved in one place and can even be shared.
