Jake and Amy romance and a plot to bring Captain Holt back in Season 3 of "Brooklyn Nine-Nine"
Season 3 of "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" has poor Jake (Andy Samberg) coming to terms with the transfer of his 'father figure' Captain Ray Holt (Andre Braugher). Seth Dozerman (Bill Hader) is now the new precinct captain, though a temporary replacement. He has a new motto that he thinks will work at the 99th precinct - "efficiency, efficiency, efficiency," Clearly, Dozerman seems to have his foot in his mouth and is a complete antithesis to the calm and collected Captain Holt.
Season 2 of "Brooklyn Nine-Nine"left viewers on a bend. Captain Holt was totally manipulated and promoted to the PR department from the 99th precinct by rival Madeline Wuntch, played by Kyra Sedgwick. Gina (Chelsea Peretti), of course, follows Captain Holt to the PR department. The new captain does not get along with the 99 precinct. Jake and Amy (Melissa Fumero) finally kiss in the car at the end of Season 2 leaving viewers with wanting more of their romance.
After obvious feelings for each other in the previous seasons, will Jake and Amy finally become an item or is it Jake's feelings of abandonment that leads him into Amy's arms? Will his love be for real?

Fans need not be distressed that Captain Holt is no longer with 99th precinct. Obviously, the storyline of Season 3 will have Captain Holt planning and plotting his return to 99th precinct with the ever faithful Gina always around to help out.
The promo of Season 3 shows Jake and Captain Holt sitting in a car in an abandoned alley in civilian clothes. Captain Holt gives Jake some advice and it is certain that they are plotting Dozerman's exit and the re-entry of Captain Holt into the 99th precinct.
Captain Holt and Gina's new phase in the PR department will also be interesting to watch. Another new character is set to enter "Brooklyn Nine-Nine." Mary Lynn Rajskub, who is well-known for her character Chloe O'Brien from the hit series "24," will appear as Genevieve, a prestigious art gallery owner. Hilarity will ensue when Boyle (Joe Lo Truglio) will think Genevieve is his soul-mate and falls in love with her.
Season 3 of "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" premieres on September 27.
