Kim Kardashian Admits She Once Lacked Confidence
Kim Kardashian may be the world's most searched celebrity, but the reality television star is admitting that she did not always have a great deal of confidence in herself.
Kardashian, the 34-year-old "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" star has graced the covers of some of the most coveted magazines and now graces the cover of Elle UK magazine. In the issue that centers around confidence, Kardashian admits that she has had to grow into her feelings of self acceptance.
"I am a confident woman, but I didn't just arrive confident–it has built over the years and that is a big part of who I am now," Kardashian said.

The reality television star admitted that she grew up during a time where a different standard of beauty reigned supreme.
"I grew up when the body to have was the tall, slim, supermodel one, like Cindy Crawford's. No one looked like me," Kardashian told Elle UK. "It's good to break the mould and recreate one. I'm an Armenian girl, I have shape, and it turned out people liked that."
"That makes me feel good about myself and about other women for being so supportive," she added.
Still, Kardashian has had to deal with her fair share of naysayers. Last year, one fan asked how she managed to ignore those speaking negatively about her and the TV personality took to Mobio Insider to respond.
"It's hard because [it] seems that these days people can never be happy for you. People can hide behind their computer and say whatever they want," Kardashian wrote on the social networking website. "Always throwing some shade to ruin a fun or exciting moment you may be having. You just have to be positive and truly ignore it. Never change who you are."
