LeAnn Rimes Slams Brandi Glanville After Being Called Out by Fan on Twitter
LeAnn Rimes took a jab at her longtime rival Brandi Glanville on social networking site Twitter recently.
The troubled singer, 31, characteristically tweeted about her family life after her stepson Mason's 11th birthday celebration, which sparked criticism from her followers. Rimes, who is married to actor Eddie Cibrian, first gushed about her day with her stepchildren and later appeared to take a dig at Glanville, who is their mother.
"Really nice day, celebrating my stepson, mason's bday. These kids have all worn themselves out! Early night in! Have a great Sunday night!" LeAnn tweeted on Sunday.
The country singer had attended the birthday party, which was held at the Sky High Sports center in Woodland Hills, along with Glanville. The pair constantly goes back and forth with subliminal insults on Twitter.
In the past Rimes has been accused of trying to provoke Glanville by constantly tweeting about her sons Mason and Jake. One follower responded to Rimes' seemingly innocent tweet by offering insight into the situation.
"I'm not meaning this in a mean way. Do you think a bit of the hate would dwindle, if you were to not mention the kids as much?" one user reportedly tweeted to Rimes.
The troubled star dismissed the idea and appeared to take yet another jab at Glanville.
"No! They are my life Eddie and my life revolve around them I will not edit myself because of anyone else's childishness," Rimes responded.
In 2009, Rimes, who was married to Dean Sheremet at the time, had an extramarital affair with Cibrian, who was married to Glanville at the time. The country singer went on to marry Cibrian, 41, and she has been embroiled in a bitter feud with Glanville ever since.
"What it is, is how she just doesn't have boundaries when it comes to my children and it upsets me because it was like that even when I was still married to Eddie and they were together," Glanville once told OK! Magazine about Rimes.
"She was … tweeting things about them and texting me really horrible things [saying] 'I love the boys. I can't wait to make their lunches,'" she continued.
