That victory for Mexico means they continue their 100 percent start to their qualification campaign, winning all three of their group games thus far.

Mexico were hot favorites to qualify top of their group, but they are living up to their favorites tag well with their performances to date. However, coach Jose Manuel de la Torre will not be taking their good position for granted and will look to finish the job well.

The coach will be strongly insisting that his side do not take anything for granted and will have to focus in tonight's game.

Costa Rica will not be just be showing up to go through the motions, and they will be desperate to get some points from today's encounter. Costa Rica know that another loss today could be highly detrimental to their own qualifying campaign, and they will be looking to stop the rot and get back on the right path with some points today.

Having already won the more difficult away fixture last week, Mexico will know they are hot favorites coming into tonight's game, and especially with the game taking place at the intimidating Estadio Azteca.
