'Modern Family' Season 7 spoilers, rumors news: Mitch gets fired and Haley hooks up with Andy

The latest spoilers of Season 7 of "Modern Family" gives fans some updates about what's happening to the show's interesting couples when the show begins to air on ABC towards the end of this month.

Season 6 of "Modern Family" had a cliffhanger ending after Mitch (Jesse Tyler Ferguson) confided to Cam (Eric Stonestreet) about losing his job. Cam, who suspected Mitch of having an affair, seems relieved to hear about Mitch's termination, but new tensions now lie in store for the couple in the upcoming season as they are now forced to survive on a reduced income.

The International Business Times confirms that the couple will go through a rough patch and fans are already seeing them facing financial difficulties while they are trying to adopt another child. Unfortunately, this fails to happen. The job loss will see Mitch now taking care of things on the home front, which Cam had been doing so far, and the strain will now begin to appear in the relationship.

Losing his job will make Mitch a bit crazy and he will try experimenting with hobbies which clearly do not suit him much. Mitch will even attempt to coach the soccer team of their adopted daughter, Lily, despite being clueless about the sport.

Season 7 will also focus on the Dunphy household and the parenthood struggles of Phil (Ty Burrell) and Claire (Julie Bowen) with their children now all grown up.

Youth Health Magazine reports that Mitch and Cam's niece, Haley (Sarah Hyland) will get together with Gloria and Jay's male nanny, Andy (Adam DeVine). While Haley resembles her mom Claire in her younger days, Andy is very much like her goofy father Phil. Fans still have to wait and see if Haley will remain with someone like her dad.

Alex (Ariel Winter), who is the middle sibling, leaves to go to college, which makes Phil and Claire worried about how their child will do at the University and getting involved with men.

Luke (Nolan Gould), the youngest child, will be the most troublesome of all due to his criminal streak, which will create differences between the father and son, according to showrunner Christopher Lloyd on Deadline.
