"Mortal Kombat X" DLC pack 2 for release in 2016 – host of characters fans want in second pack.
Warner Bros. and NetherRealm's announcement that "Mortal Kombat X" is going to get a second DLC Pack named "Kombat Pack 2" has generated lots of excitement among fans. Fans are thrilled to know that "Kombat Pack 2" will have a host of characters to play with. This has resulted in rumors and speculations as to who these characters are going to be.
Both Warner Bros. and NetherRealm will have a difficult time in locking the characters of "Kombat Pack 2" in face of these speculations. But until the second pack comes out, gamers can have a bit of fun by looking at the wishlist of the fans.
The first Mortal Kombat X Kombat Pack had some solid DLC add-ons but NetherRealm Studios recently confirmed that the fight is not over. The second pack will have new kombatants coming in 2016. This has heightened expectations from fans. Also, comments from director Ed Boon have added fire to the fuel. Fans are excited because they know that the new "Kombatants" could be from the "Mortal Kombat" universe and also from the Warner Bros. movie franchises.
Fans are speculating from the teaser silhouettes and this is their wish list: Rain, Sindel, Fujin, Sektor, Cyrax, Baraka, Smoke, Noob Saibot, Bo Rai Cho, Kabal from the "Mortal Kombat" universe.
Boon had posted some stills on Twitter that were distorted snaps from the film "Straight Outta Compton" and had characters that looked suspiciously like Sektor and Alien. The post was titled "Straight Outta KP2." KP2 could mean "Kombat Pack 2." This post sort of confirms that both Sektor and Alien might be among the characters, Design & Trend reported.
Fans are expecting anything from NetherRealm as it usually does something different. For the game developer, anything is possible. So fans are incuding "Kombatants" from the movies too. They could be Freddy Krueger, Superman, Green Lantern, Pinhead, Joker, Bane, etc.
Screenrant has reported that Baraka will be among the characters as indicated by the teaser silhouette image. Going by that logic, one silhouette looks almost like the Joker.
Till both Warner Bros. and NetherRealm make another announcement, speculations will continue. Do remember that the "Kombat Pack 2" comes out in 2016.
