'Nashville' Season 4 – Love is in the air for Rayna and Marcus. Will Luke go for Gabriella?
After the suspense-filled finale of Season 3, "Nashville" is going so fast that fans are not going to get a breather. First, there is the question of who is alive and who is dead. Where will Will fit in this season? And will Luke fancy new PR lady, Gabriella? Rayna's and Marcus' romance develops after a bad start.
Despite the many questions, Nashville showrunner Dee Johnson will only talk about some of them. According to TVLine, she says, "I'll just tell you that Rayna's world will never be the same." What happens to Will after that press conference? Johnson states about Will, who has an interesting story arc this season, "It's a real journey. [The press conference] was the first gigantic step, and now there's 999 more to get where he needs to go… It's safe to say that he meant everything he said in that moment, and then, of course, then afterwards you're going, "Oh gosh, should I have done that?" When we come back, he's been hibernating a little bit. The question is: When he comes out of hibernation, where does he fit in?"
Talking about Juliette and Avery, they are going to have it tough what with Avery taking the baby to protect it from Juliette's unstable behavior. They might get back but at a later stage. But the season will have its share of drama as it is possible that Deacon and his petty, troublemaker of a sister will make an appearance in this upcoming season. But the good news is that there is no one dying, as hinted by Johnson to TV Line.
Coming to their musical career, Britton's character will try to get struggling label Highway 65 Records off the ground. Rayna will be more determined to make Highway 65 Records a label to be reckoned with so she goes on a hunt for new talent, and she finds Marcus Keen who is gunning for a solo career.
Marcus enters in Episode 2 and he is a significant talent so Rayna pursues him. But soon, Marcus becomes demanding as he thinks he is responsible for his success and not Highway 65 Records. Rayna and Marcus fight but this soon turns into romance.
With all these going-ons, Season 4 of "Nashville" will turn out to be one roller-coaster ride for the viewers.
"Nashville" premieres tonight at 10:00 pm Eastern on ABC.
