New 'Bachelorette' Andi Dorfman: 'I'm Looking to Find That Great Love'
Andi Dorfman, the "Bachelor" contestant who revealed all before leaving Juan Pablo to pick another contestant, is the new "Bachelorette." Dorfman told the audience during "After the Rose" that she is ready to find "great love" and is excited for her new adventure.
"I'm looking to find that great love," Dorfman said. "I have a great life. I just don't have anyone to spend it with. I love my job but at the end of the day my job is not my priority. I'm ready to find my husband."
Dorfman became famous for revealing what actually happened between her and Juan Pablo during their fantasy suite date. She told the cameras she could not wait to leave and was thrilled to dump Juan Pablo after he refused to talk with her about his emotions and seemed vaguely uninterested in everything she had to say. But with that behind her, Dorfman told host Chris Harrison that she is excited for her own season and to meet the man who may be her partner.
"I feel all in. I feel mentally all in, emotionally all in, physically all in. I am in a place in my life where I'm just so ready for this," she explained. "I hate to say it because I don't want to jinx myself … but I am ready. I've never felt better in my life about this and I'm just excited."
One thing is for certain – Dorfman will not have any problems communicating with the men who vie for her attention. She tried to explain what she needed from Juan Pablo, but he just didn't get it, leaving Dorfman frustrated and certain that he was not the one for her. She left the show and immediately told her side of the story, causing several raised eyebrows about the show and its authenticity… as well as Juan Pablo himself.
Dorfman is currently an assistant district attorney in Atlanta but will put that on hold to give love a chance.
