Next Episode 'She's Dying' Puts Annalise On The Stand in 'How To Get Away With Murder' Season 2
The second episode of "How To Get Away With Murder" Season 2 is titled "She's Dying." It features Nate Lahey (Billy Brown), who is on trial for the murder of Sam Keating (Tom Verica). We don't know who will be defending Nate, but Annalise (Viola Davis) will be put on the stand in this trial.
Will Annalise's old friend Eve, played by Famke Janssen of 'Taken' fame, defend Nate? The episode will also delve into the previous romantic history between Annalise and Eve. It was actually Annalise who had framed Nate for her husband's murder. When Eve learns about this, she is angry with Annalise.
So Annalise is put on the stand and accused of murdering her husband. She has a bad time on the stand, losing her temper and playing right into the hands of the Prosecutor.
The Prosecutor tells her, "So let me understand. Here you are, discovering that you are being traded in for a younger model. Add that to your violent history... as well as numerous indicators that proved you helped Mr. Lahey kill your husband..."
Her temper rising, Annalise shouts back, "I will not stand for this your honor. You know I have the utmost respect for your court, but not for this speculative antagonizing prosecutor. Instead your strategy has been to attack me with accusations and insinuations making it very clear that this isn't a preliminary hearing but a witch hunt." The Prosecutor just noted down that Annalise was indeed capable of killing her husband.
In the meantime, things take a nasty turn when investigators attempt to press fresh charges on two of Annalise's clients - a brother and a sister - based on new evidence and information they've collected. The siblings are suspected of killing their parents.
ABC's "How to Get Away With Murder" has stuck to the formula of secrets, deceits and lies building up to murder and then pointing fingers. Check out how Annalise fares on the stand in the episode, "She's Dying" of "How to get away with Murder" Season 2. The show airs Thursdays, 10 PM ET, on ABC.
