'Revenge of the Battle-Cars' DLC to be out in October. More DLC and release on additional systems soon.

The release of "Rocket League's" new DLC from Psyonix has been set for October. Psyonix struck bullseye with "Rocket League," which is the smash summer hit this year. The "Revenge of the Battle-Cars" DLC is inspired by its previous game that had the word "Supersonic" in its title but was not able to generate much excitement. The game was titled Psyonix's "Supersonic Acrobatic Rocket-Powered Battle-Cars."

"Rocket League," a 'soccer-with-cars' game, is easily the most downloadable game this summer. Officially, at the end of July, the number of times "Rocket League" has been downloaded across PC and PS4 rose past the 5 million-mark. 1 million copies of the game have been purchased on Steam alone. With more DLC coming out in the near future plus rumors of release for additional systems, "Rocket League" is at last set to achieve supersonic speed.

Launching in October on PlayStation 4 and PC, "Revenge of the Battle-Cars" has most of everything new- cars, wheels, rocket boosts, toppers, antennas, paint types – everything is based off "Supersonic Acrobatic Rocket-Powered Battle Cars." Players will also be getting two new variations of the game's maps - a night version of Urban Station and a dusk edition of Utopia Coliseum.
