Rick Ross, 'God Forgives, I Don't' Rapper, Released From Hospital After Seizures

Rapper Rick Ross was released from an Alabama hospital on Sunday after suffering two seizures Friday. The rapper arrived in Memphis this weekend for the grand opening of his Wing Stop franchise where he was headed when he suffered two in-flight seizures Friday.

According to TMZ, Ross, known as “The Bawse” to fans was still in the hospital receiving care on Saturday.

Ross, whose real name is William Roberts, reportedly suffered two seizures in separate incidents Friday, with the first incident occurring during a commercial flight from Florida that was headed for Memphis, Tenn., for a concert.

Hours later, the rapper got a on a private jet and suffered a second seizure. The rapper's flight was immediately grounded and Ross was taken to the hospital. He appeared to be doing well not long afterwards, even commenting on his Twitter account that he was fine.

Although the seizure was serious enough to force the plane to make an emergency landing, Ross appeared to be okay and has said that he will still perform in Memphis at the FedEx Forum. He even began responding to tweets wishing him well.

"Don't scare a ***** like that. Thanks," tweeted hip-hop journalist, Elliot Wilson.

Ross tweeted back: "Never dat homie."

According to HipHopDx.com, there is no word on the rapper's business in Memphis. His scheduled performance was initially canceled last week.

“We actually been talking about him and praying for him on the trailer because he’s such a crucial part of hip-hop right now and we’re just hoping he’s healthy,” Nicki Minaj told MTV News. “That’s all we can do is pray and hope that he gets some rest and comes back stronger.”

Ross is currently on tour and getting ready to release his new album, “God Forgives, I Don’t,” which is due out in December.

As news broke of Ross' seizure, the rapper's entry on Wikipedia showed a death date of Oct. 14, 2011. However, it was later removed.
