Rihanna Reveals She Was Bullied Throughout School

Rihanna may be an international pop star, but the 25-year-old Barbadian recording artist is revealing that she was once a victim of bullying.

"I got teased my entire school life. What they were picking on I don't even understand," Rihanna revealed to Glamour magazine where she serves as the November cover girl. "It was my skin color. Then when I got older, it was about my breasts."

Still, the singer revealed why she feels being bullied was a part of God's plan for her.

"But I'm not victimized-I'm grateful. I think those experiences were strategically put together by God for the preparation of being in the music industry," she told Glamour. "It's so easy for me to deal with the (expletive) now."

Rihanna recently engaged in a social media feud with fellow singer Teyana Taylor that left some accusing the former of cyber bullying.

Rihanna posted an Instagram video of her stylist Yusef Williams singing Anita Baker's "Caught Up In The Rapture" in a curly wig after Taylor, 22, initially posted a video of herself singing the same song with her well known curly mane. Taylor lashed out at Rihanna and her best friend Melissa Forde on Twitter and both responded causing a feud to play out on the social networking website where Rihanna and Taylor became trending topics.

"For her to make a video like that it wasn't no coinkidink. 'Caught Up in the Rapture of Love' is not a recent song," Taylor told New York City radio station Hot 97. " She knew what she was doing. I do think she's a cyber bully, I really do."

Williams, the stylist that appears in the controversial video that sparked the feud with Taylor insists Rihanna is no bully.

"Cyber bully is harsh word. She is focused, being Rihanna. She is not sitting around," Williams told EnStars. "She didn't grab her phone. She is the most kind and giving person. I just think for that to go the way it went, it was uncalled for."
