Robert Pattinson Reveals 'I've Started Moisturizing;' Talks Career Plans

Robert Pattinson recently opened up about changes he has made to his grooming routine and he also spoke about his upcoming career plans.

The "Twilight" star, 27, revealed that he has added "moisturizing" to his basic grooming routine since becoming the face of Dior Homme Eau for Men last year. The British actor made headlines in 2009 when he admitted that washing his hair is of little importance however he now appears to have changed his ways.

"I was a brush-your-teeth-and-have-a-shower kind of guy. I can't tell if it's because of my association with Dior or because I'm older, but I've started moisturizing," Pattinson told the Wall Street Journal.

"It's been a quite profound change in my life," he added.

Pattinson rose to stardom in 2008 as Edward Cullen in the film adaptations of the "Twilight" novels by Stephenie Meyer. He made headlines the following year when reports surfaced claiming he had not washed his hair in six weeks.

The "Maps To The Stars" actor was asked by ExtraTV whether there was any truth to the reports.

"Probably. I don't know. I don't really see the point in washing your hair," he said.

"If you don't care if your hair's clean or not then why would you wash it?' he continued. 'It's like, I don't clean my apartment 'cause I don't care. I have my apartment for sleeping in and I have my hair for just, you know, hanging out on my head. I don't care if it's clean or not."

The actor is currently filming his latest movie "Queen Of The Desert" and he spoke of his upcoming career plans. Pattinson's latest Dior campaign sees the actor starring in a new ad alongside model Camille Rowe to promote a new fragrance.

"This year, I'm trying to see what my niche is," he revealed.

"I like trying to do ambitious things," he explained before touching on his Dior gig. "That's what got me really enthusiastic about the campaign, that [Dior] wasn't shying away from anything."
