'RWBY' Volume 3 News: 'RWBY' Will Be Back This October 24

Fans of the hit anime web series "RWBY" have been patiently waiting for new episodes of the anime since last year. Avid followers of the series will now have something to rejoice since "RWBY" will now be back this month for its third volume.

It was announced last week during the 2015 New York Comic-Con that "RWBY" will definitely return this October, according to iDigital Times. The announcement was made by Gray G. Haddock, head of Rooster Teeth Productions, which is the production company of the American anime-influenced series. "Rooster Teeth is ecstatic for the return of RWBY and the upcoming premiere of Volume 3! We couldn't be prouder of the team and everything they've accomplished," Haddock said.

Haddock also said that the company is "constantly amazed" at how fans received the series. He also said that they owe the audience "so much" since the series started. "Our community can't wait to welcome all the new fans joining us from overseas as RWBY Volume 1 is released in Japan by WB this November. A sincere thanks to everyone who has supported the show and the crew this year — we can't wait to share the further adventures of team RWBY with you," he concluded.

According to The Bit Bag, fans were initially worried about the show's return from its last volume, since Monty Oum, the series' creator, passed away. However, Haddock assured that Ruby Rose, Weiss Schnee, Blake Belladonna, and Yang Xiao Long's story will continue on.

Load The Game teased fans on what to expect this season and said that the female leads are now going to face the "ultimate battle of skill" in The Vytal Festival Tournament. According to the website, the tournament pits some of the world's best Huntsman and Huntresses against one another. The battle will bring Remnant's most powerful fighters, even those with "sinister" plans.

"RWBY" will premiere this Oct. 24 on RoosterTeeth.com
