In the background, the camps for each of the candidates were going all out in their efforts to bring down their opponents in the race. The most ruthless of them all was Olivia, who made it quite clear that she will do everything in her power to help Mellie Grant win the election; even if it means playing some dirty tactics.

In one of the most interesting turn of events, the Gladiators found out that Susan has lied on so many things about her personal life. Liv was more than eager to take the golden opportunity but Huck and Quinn voiced out their reason. The boss, however, won't be listening to any of this. Instead, she decides to see Susan's imprisoned lover who also turns out to be the father of the candidate's daughter. Poor Ronnie was forced to agree on an expose interview.
Everything is set until they heard the news that the man took his own life in his cell. Everyone involved was devastated but the most affected was Susan who vows to make the ones responsible pay for the death of her secret lover. Does she have the inkling that it was Mellie's camp, most specifically Liv, who forced Ronnie to commit suicide?
