'Supernatural' Season 11 Spoilers, Plot Rumors: Will have a femme fatale as the evil primordial Darkness
The hit TV series "Supernatural" from The CW will return in its 11th season with a horrific "Darkness" that will be a femme fatale. The Winchester brothers will be all bloodied and bruised fighting this primordial evil of pre-Biblical times. The season is rumored to bring in new stories with more characters and villains.
Fans will recall that this primordial evil called the "Darkness" entered the world when brothers Sam and Dean Winchester released it after the Mark of Cain was removed from Dean's arm in the finale of Season 10. The premiere episode of "Supernatural" Season 11 is titled "Out of the Darkness, Into the Fire" suggesting that the evil is out now and this is the biggest threat faced by the Winchester brothers ever.
The first photos of Season 11 depict the brothers who are not in good condition. The fight with "Darkness" has left them bloodied and bruised. Who is going to help Sam and Dean fight the Darkness?
According to TVLine, Jeremy Carver, executive producer of "Supernatural" said that to fight the Darkness, Sam and Dean will have to form alliances with the worst kind – namely unholy alliances with characters from their dark pasts. Carver said, "They're going to have to confront some figures from their past. They're going to have to make some unexpected and unholy alliances involving folks from their past, which will have personal ramifications."
The" Darkness" is rumored to be a femme fatale. Carver further teased, "There's a lot of mystery [as to not only] what or who the darkness is, but what the darkness wants. That's something the show takes its time building and playing with, and it really causes the brothers some fits."
The darkness will have a physical form, that of the seductress 'Amara.' It has been speculated that Emily Swallow has been cast to play this seducing "Darkness." On this matter, Carver did not make any comments.
"Supernatural" cast members Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles, who play Sam and Dean respectively, told The Hollywood Reporter that they are both happy that finally they will have a common goal of fighting the "Darkness" together as for the previous seasons they were always in conflict.
"Supernatural" Season 11 will return on Wednesday, Oct. 7, at 9 p.m. EDT on The CW.
