'Shadowhunters' Season 1 Episode 13 Spoilers: Will Jace Switch Sides In Spring Finale?
Things are going south for Jace who, in the previous episode of "Shadowhunters" Season 1, found out that the girl he has fallen in love with is said to be his sister. The big revelation eventually made him realize that Valentine, the person he's been after with the whole time, is also his father. These drastic developments are now making huge changes in the life of the Shadowhunter.
In the upcoming spring finale of the hit Freeform show, Jace will be presented with the opportunity to switch sides. It's either he goes up against Valentine or join him in his cause.
The synopsis shared by the show's official website for "Morning Star" stated that Jace is still reeling from what he had learned about his identity and family. However, this won't stop him from going after Valentine – his "number one priority." Nonetheless, there's now a conflicted feeling he felt towards the man.

Meanwhile, Clary and Simon are racing against the clock to find ways of stopping Valentine. The only way to do it is to unlock Jocelyn's coma. However, unlocking Jocelyn's spell can compromise the Downworlder peace treaty, Simon's relationship with Raphael, and the Vampire clan as well. Alec, on his part, will be dealing with the consequences of his reckless decision for choosing Magnus Bane over Lydia. Fans know that his choice directly affects the future of the Lightwoods.
The sneak peek for the episode sees Jace getting quite a bit listless and impatient as he and Alec prepares to take down Valentine. Clary shows up to try to reason with him. She said that his emotions are getting the best out of him. Unfortunately, it looks like Jace has already made up his mind and won't hear a single word of reason. He instead asks Clary to wake up Jocelyn as she is the key to their plan against Valentine.
