'Sleepy Hollow' Season 3 Spoilers, Plot News: Characters Reunite

The return of "Sleepy Hollow" season 3 will be reuniting two well-loved characters of the series.

According to TV Line, the executive producer of the series, Clifton Campbell, recently shared some details about Abbie Mills, played by Nicole Beharie, and Ichabod Crane, played by Tom Mison, when the third season returns.

The two characters have been forced to stay in different worlds in the previous episodes of "Sleepy Hollow." With that, it was reported that Crane will finally get a chance to get together with Abbie. The midseason finale ended with Abbie walking to the portal located under the tree of Pandora, played by Shannyn Sossamon, in order to save her sister. From there, it was revealed that she will end up finding Crane, which will bring forth a different vibe to the series.

Campbell stated, "Things change dramatically once you take one of the key components out of the dynamic between Crane and Abbie. A lot of questions and a lot of need and desire comes to the surface, and it comes together in a very nice way."

Fellow cast member Charlene Amoia also expressed her excitement for Abbie and Crane's reunion. According to International Business Times, she stated, "I'm always careful about spoilers, but I can tell you that Ichabod (Tom Mison) and Abbie (Nicole Beharie) encounter a whole new set of obstacles in season 3 and the premiere has a super fun way of setting them all up! I'd tell you more, but I'm afraid I'd lose my head!"

With that, another relationship is expected to progress while Abbie is away. It was reported that Jenny, Abbie's sister, played by Lyndie Greenwood, will be seeking comfort from Joe, played by Zach Appelman, after her sister's sacrifice.

"Sleepy Hollow" season 3 will return to the small screen this Feb. 5 on FOX.
