Sony Reveals This Week's Halloween-Themed PS4, PS3, and Vita Deals

With Halloween fast approaching, Sony made sure that its lineup of discounted deals for its leading consoles will fit right in with the festivities.

The tech and gaming giant announced its latest batch of deals for the PlayStation 4 (PS4), PlayStation 3 (PS3), and Vita for the week. The deals are under the Sale of the Dead Halloween-themed offerings that feature a long list of horror games.

Leading the list of discounted deals for PS4 is "Resident Evil 7" which is the latest installment of Capcom's iconic horror game franchise. The basic edition now costs $30 whereas the Deluxe edition now costs $54 from $90. Its Season Pass, on the other hand, now goes for $24.

In addition, previous installments of the franchise are also on sale, namely, "Resident Evil 4," "Resident Evil 5," and "Resident Evil 6" that go for $8 each. Moreover, "Code Veronica" now goes for $3.74.

Gamespot noted that PS Plus Subscribers will get to enjoy bigger discounts compared to non-subscribers. Meanwhile, fans of PS4 horror games will also enjoy other discounted titles outside of the "Resident Evil" franchise. "Dead Island" Definitive Edition is now on sale for $5 while "Dying Light: The Following" Enhanced Edition now goes for $21.

Furthermore, "What Remains of Edith Finch," "Killing Floor 2," and "Observer" also join the Sale of the Dead lineup. They go on sale for $13, $16, and $18, respectively. Rounding out the notable PS4 deals are "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt" Complete Edition for $20; and "Crypt of the NecroDancer" and "Salt and Sanctuary," which are both available via Cross-Buy with Vita for $3 and $9, respectively.

Switching over to the PS3 side, Resident Evil fans can enjoy "Resident Evil Revelations 2" Deluxe Bundle for $12. Other deals include "Dead Island: Riptide" Complete Edition ($5), and "Silent Hill: Book of Memories" ($7.49). "Corpse Party: Book of Shadows" ($8), and "Zero Escape: Zero Time Dilemma" ($16) are also available for Vita owners.
