'Star Wars: Battlefront II' Beta Latest News: EA Reveals Minimum and Recommended PC Specs to Play
With the open beta for "Star Wars: Battlefront II" now live, PC owners who are looking to give it a try better check on their computer's specs.
EA revealed on Friday the PC specs for gamers to enjoy the beta version. The game developer listed down the requirements in a post on the game's official forums site. One of the primary minimum requirements for PC owners is 15 GB of hard drive space.
Another is an OS of 64-bit Windows 7 SP1, Windows 8.1 or Windows 10. As for the processor, EA listed the AMD FX-6350 and the Intel Core i5 6600K. The PCs should also have 8 BG of RAM, a graphics card that's at least an AMD Radeon HD 7850 2 GB or an NVIDIA GeForce® GTX 660 2 GB, along with 11.0 Compatible video card or anything equivalent.

In addition, the online internet connection should be at least 512 kbps or faster.
For players who wish to enjoy a crisper gaming experience, EA also revealed the recommended PC requirements. The hard drive space remains the same at 15 GB, but the OS is now limited to 64-bit Windows or a later version. For the processor, it's either AMD FX 8350 Wraith or Intel Core i7 6700.
Meanwhile, the memory will be doubled at 16 GB as the graphics card is limited to either an AMD Radeon RX 480 4 GB or the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 3 GB. DirectX should be 11.1 compatible video card or equivalent while online internet connection still remains the same at 512 kbps or faster.
Gamespot noted, however, that since the game is still in its beta phase, there is a possibility that the final PC specs may change, once the game is officially released. The "Star Wars: Battlefront II" beta will run until Oct. 9 not only on PC but also on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
Furthermore, any game progress attained by the players during the beta state will not be carried over when the game is released in full on Nov. 17.
