One of the most successful spin-offs from the "NCIS" franchise, Season 1 of "NCIS: New Orleans" raked in solid ratings for a new show. Since the creators of the "NCIS" franchise believe in taking their viewers on a roller-coaster ride, it is guaranteed that Season 2 of "NCIS: New Orleans" is going to be more thrilling than Season 1.

"NCIS: New Orleans" is a military procedural crime drama set in the beautiful city of New Orleans and its prime directive is to fend off military-related threats to the city. Season 1 of the show had NCIS Special Agent Dwayne "King" Pride, played by Scott Bakula, and his team get embroiled in a fast-paced thrilling ride to save New Orleans from a West African terrorist whose aim was to destroy the city's port. Helping them in this adventure were an ex-ATF Agent Sonja Percy, played by Shalita Grant, and investigative computer specialist Patton Plame, played by Daryl Mitchell.

The good news is that according to Deadline, the two actors have been promoted to series regulars for the upcoming season. Sonja Percy tells Agent Pride that she wants to join the NCIS team. But it is not clear if she will be an NCIS officer or agent.
