Super Smash Bros 4 Pic Reveals A New Move in King Dedede's Arsenal (PHOTO)

A new move in the upcoming Super Smash Bros 4 for the Wii U and 3DS was revealed by the game's director earlier this week.

Masahiro Sakurai took to the MiiVerse yesterday and posted up a pic of the day displaying King Dedede unleashing what could be one of the most deadly attacks in the game.

"So far, which attack can blast away enemies most dynamically … Is it King Dedede's fully charged Jet Hammer? Nah, it can't beat [Little Mac's] K.O. uppercut," he said.

In other Smash news, Diddy Kong from the famed Donkey Kong Country series was announced to be a playable character for the Super Smash Bros 4 on the Wii U and 3DS last month.

In honor of the new game for 3DS Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze, Smash Bros director Masahiro Sakurai revealed that Diddy Kong would make another appearance in the Nintendo fighting series. He also released a picture of Diddy as his Pic of the Day in the Miiverse yesterday.

New pics from both the Wii U and 3DS versions are posted by the game's director Masahiro Sakurai every day in Nintendo's Miiverse. Two of the most recent ones featured Lucario taking on Marth in battle and a character from Nintendogs sitting in front of a television.

The new Super Smash Bros games were first announced at E3 in 2011. There is no word on an official release date, however, they are expected to launch before the end of this year. Both versions of the game will boast different trophies so players who purchase both will have some variety. The Wii U version will be the fourth official installment in the series following in the footsteps of the original that launched for the Nintendo 64 in 1999.
